Welcome to the Brixham Heritage Museum Membership page

We value our Members, who help support the ongoing work of the museum through their annual membership fees. 

As well as the right to participate in the running of the charity through attendance and voting in AGMs, our members also benefit from a 5% discount on our shop gifts and extensive range of books for sale, all focussing on Brixham’s rich historical, cultural, and environmental heritage. Also, members are entitled to a 10% discount on research, talks, and events run by the museum. Interested?

Annual Membership fees: Individual £20; Joint £35; Family £40; Junior (under 18) £5.

Membership runs from 1st January 2025 to 31st December 2025

By subscribing to Brixham Heritage Museum, you are helping to support the ongoing work of the museum in caring for the collection for current and future generations.

You will also be eligible for a 5% discount from all shop sales and a 10% discount on research, talks, and events run by the museum.

I/we apply to become a member of Brixham Heritage Museum. I/we agree to support the aims and objectives of the charity and agree for my/our names to be stored on a database for use by the charity only. Information will not be shared with any other organisation.

Gift Aid
With Gift Aid, the charity can claim back the tax paid on your subscription. This gives us 25p per £1 you pay at no extra cost to you.  We claim this directly from the Inland Revenue. If you are a UK taxpayer, paying income tax and/or capital gains tax, you can sign up for Gift Aid by completing the form below.

I declare that I wish all subscriptions I have made to Brixham Heritage Museum in the last four years and all those that I make hereafter, to be treated by the charity as Gift Aid donations and for the charity to reclaim tax paid.

I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year, it is my responsibility to pay any difference.

Please notify the charity if you wish to cancel your Gift Aid declaration, are no longer eligible for Gift Aid, or if you change your personal details.

I consent that Brixham Heritage Museum may contact me by post, telephone, and/or email with news and information about membership, events, exhibitions, products, and appeals.

I understand that all data will be held securely, and that Brixham Heritage Museum will never pass my details to any third parties (apart from the Direct Debit provider if this is the method of payment chosen, or HMRC if I have agreed to Gift Aid), and that I may unsubscribe at any time.
